TIP 1: HAIR CARE
It promises to be another hot summer. Nice of course, but it is important that you take extra care of your hair. Always use a sun protection spray with UVA and UVB filters. This nourishes your hair, protects your scalp and prevents your hair color from fading from bright sunlight. If your scalp does burn, make your own remedy. Brew a cup of green tea and let it cool. Wash your hair, preferably not with water that is too hot, and then gently spray the cooled green tea over your hair and scalp. Leave this on for 5 minutes and rinse
then out. The antioxidants in green tea are great for inflammation and an itchy or burning scalp.
TIP 2: HAIR GROWTH
Long locks, who wouldn’t want that? But what’s the best way to grow your hair long? First of all, don’t go to the hairdresser every six weeks. That is not necessarily necessary to keep it healthy. In addition, it is important that you do not wash your hair every day and take good care of it with the right nourishing products, such as a leave-in conditioner or a hair mask from time to time. You can also choose to take hair and nail tablets for extra vitamins and minerals. These not only promote hair growth, but also ensure strong and long nails. Also pay attention to what kind of elastic you use in your hair. Rather use a soft scrunchie or metal free rubber band. And then one last golden tip: sleep on a satin pillowcase. This has numerous benefits, such as less frizz and split ends, less greasy hair and better hydration of the skin.
TIP 3: BEACH LOOK
Always wanted to have a full head of curls? This dream becomes reality with papillots.
To be used in a few simple steps:
Dampen your hair, but not too wet.
Use a salt spray for more grip.
Roll the papillots in a vertical line up to where you want the curl
want to have (down to the scalp is not necessary).
Don’t roll them too tight for a casual beach look!
Let it dry naturally or put the hair dryer on it. (note: hair dryer not too hot).
Remove the papillots from your hair and comb gently
through for a casual effect.
Use some texturizing spray on the roots
for more volume and grip.
Extra tip: roll the front two parts diagonally to the back and secure with a nice clip for a playful 70s effect.
